Preventive monitoring meeting within the CBHE Erasmus + Project " Fostering Internationalization at Montenegrin HEIs through Efficient Strategic Planning – IESP“ was held on 27th April 2020. The meeting was organized by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and the National Erasmus + Office. Due to the circumstances stemming from the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic, the meeting was held on-line by means of the Zoom application. Representatives of all Montenegrin partners on the project attended the meeting.
The coordinator presented the plan of activities for the first year of the project and gave an overview of implemented activities. Plans for the future activities were also discussed during the meeting in accordance with the questions submitted by the National Erasmus + Office. All the participants expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation within the project.
Particular attention was dedicated to the issues stemming from the on-going situation with the Covid 19 pandemic and the postponing of the study-visits and related activities due to restrictions the crisis has caused. Continuation of activities was discussed as well as a contingency plan for mitigation of the negative effect of the crisis on the implementation of project activities.
IESP project involves three universities from Montenegro: University of Montenegro, University Mediterranean and University Donja Gorica, as well as three universities from the countries of the European Union: University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University Cote d’Azure (France) and the University of Cadiz (Spain). The project involves as partners also the Ministry of Education of Montenegro, the Ministry of Science of Montenegro and the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education of Montenegro.
The coordinator of IESP project is the University of Montenegro.
The project will be implemented in the period from October 15, 2019 to October 15, 2021.
