At the meeting held in the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro with the Vice-deans for International Cooperation on October 26^th 2022, the supporting documentation for mobility of students and staff and guidelines for project implementation were presented. The documents will be very useful for daily work of Vice-deans with administration of mobility projects and other international projejcts, but also to all those dealing with internationalization activities.

The aim of the meeting led by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization prof. dr Sanja Peković, was to introduce to the Vice-deans to the results achieved in the field of internationalization. In the previous period, following the objectives of the Internationalization Strategy developed within IESP project, the University of Motnenegro has implemented a number of activities aimed at increasing support for incoming and outgoing mobility.

The importance of accreditation and implementation of two summer schools, organized by the Kotor Maritime Faculty and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, was emphasized. Such LLL programs have contributed to the quality of education and the strengthening of the institutional capacity of UoM, but also to the development of internationalization at home.

When it comes to the incoming and outgoing mobility of students and staff, the data show that the previous academic year was a record for the number of mobilities achieved so far. For the second semester in a row, training workshops for teaching in English have been organized. The workshops held by the US Government English Language Fellow are part of the efforts that the University of Montenegro invests in order to create preconditions for increasing incoming mobility and strengthening the capacity of the teaching staff with the aim of introducing and improving teaching in foreign languages ​​at the University of Montenegro.

With the founding of ESN Podgorica, organization in charge of organizing extracurricular activities for incoming students, a step forward was made in supporting incoming mobility, but the process of internationalization at home was also improved.

In the following period, a series of activities are planned that will put the importance of dissemination of achieved results and evaluation of realized mobilities in the foreground. In relation to this, and taking into account the great interest of students and staff, the amendment of the Criteria for the selection of candidates in mobility programs is being prepared.

All participants of the meeting expressed the expectation that continuous and coordinated activities promoting the mobility programs will contribute to greater internationalization and even better international recognition of the University.

In conclusion of the meeting Ana Dragutinović, Head of the international Relations and Mobility Office announced the Staff Week that would be held in two week at the University of Montenegro to mark the completion of IESP project.
