IESP English Course - Awarding Ceremony

At the University of Montenegro, certificates were awarded to 41 participants from the academic and non-academic staff for successfully attending English language courses organized as part of the Erasmus + project IESP (Strengthening Internationalization at Montenegrin Universities through Effective Strategic Planning) coordinated by the University of Montenegro.
Certificates were awarded by four professors of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Montenegro who taught, Dr. Dragana Čarapić, Dr. Petar Božović, Dr. Milena Mrdak-Mićović, and Dr. Branka Živković.
Ana Dragutinović greeted the participants on behalf of the Erasmus + team of the IESP project and the Office for International Cooperation of UCG.
"The organization of courses is part of the efforts of the University of Montenegro to strengthen the capacity of teaching and non-teaching staff involved in the internationalization of the University of Montenegro, as well as plans to introduce English teaching in several subjects at the level of undergraduate and master studies this academic year.", she said, adding that the course was organized for a total of seven groups, one of which consisted of administrative staff.
The realization of the project, as he states, started in November 2019, and the main goal is to improve the international competitiveness and visibility of UCG, primarily by providing the best model for intensifying the process of internationalization.
As part of the project, the Internationalization Strategy was made with an action plan for the period 2021-2026, and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of internationalization were developed, Dragutinovic explained and announced that the process of accreditation of two interdisciplinary summer schools in English has begun.
Dragutinovic said that a department for language support for internationalization has been established at the University level, to strengthen the internationalization process, and that she hopes that this department will continue to organize foreign language courses for teaching and administrative staff, which is one of the prerequisites for increasing student mobility. ,academic, research and non-academic staff.
