Two meetings were organized on 15th and 18th March 2021 with the purpose of planning interdisciplinary programs of summer schools entitled: Sustainability in yachting and cruise tourism and Entrepreneurship in heritage tourism.
The aim of the meetings was to define indicators, tools, and actors necessary for smooth and high-quality implementation of the courses, plans, accreditation process, measuring, at the same time, the success of internationalization effort of the faculties. Design of summer school programs will include the development of the course content and the learning outcomes, procedures of student recruitment, procedures of dealing with the application process, and an arrangement of housing for the students. The professionals from the business sector (such as from the Port of Kotor AD) will be included in order to support the practical valorisation of the summer school programs. The Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor and Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management will offer two summer school programs in English language with ECTS in order to support the internationalization process of the University of Montenegro.
Together with the assistance of the colleagues from the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education – ACQAHE summer school curricula will be created as foreseen within WP3 Development of Tools for Enhanced Internationalization of IESP project.
